The lodge originally met on the second floor of a commercial building on the south west corner of Summer Ave. and National Street before erecting a building at 614 National Street in the 1950s.

Past Master and longtime Secretary James Emmit McDaniel was elected Most Worshipful Grand Master in 1984.

Merged with Normal-Bethel Grove Lodge #722 on December 1, 2006 to form University Lodge #722.
